NAMIGO is a self-help organization established in 1985 to improve the the quality of life for people with neurobiological brain disorders (NBD) and their families.
- We are family members with loved ones who have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or any of the serious mental illnesses.
- We are people recovering from brain disorders.
- We are caring individuals who support the efforts of NAMI.
NAMIGO is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a national organization that is ranked among the top charities in the United States. |

If you fear something is wrong with your child but not sure what, NAMI.org has a list of 10 steps to get an accurate diagnosis of your child . Diagnosing children is difficult, even for the most experienced professionals. Children change rapidly, and there are a lack of qualified child mental health professionals. But despite the challenges, there is still plenty for families to do to help their children. |
