Doris Strong and Debra Horton have agreed to offer their Sharing Hope presentation via Facebook Live on Thursday, July 16th at 5:30 pm This is a golden opportunity to offer Sharing Hope to a very wide audience. Here is the link to the Facebook Live Event.
On Friday, July 24, at 4:00 p.m. NAMI Tallahassee invites the NAMI Florida affiliate communities to join them for a very special presentation from Dr. Huberta Jackson-Lowman, Professor, Department of Psychology, Florida A&M University. Dr. Jackson-Lowman will offer her special insights on the topic “Understanding & Addressing Engendered Racial Trauma in the Lives of Black Girls & Women.” Visit NAMI Tallahassee’s website, www.nami-tallahassee.org, for more information.
