Presenters: Dr. Monique Simpson, Dr. Jane Phelps-Tschang with expert panelist Dr. Ramenshwari Tumuluru

Join us as they share information on the stages of emotional development in children, developmental goals and skills that may help kids become active participants in their mental health, and how to use books to prompt discussions about their emotions.

Dr. Simpson is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at La Amistad Behavioral Health Services. She has several clinical interests and is particularly passionate about education and decreasing stigma around mental health and substance use. Dr. Simpson has enjoyed being a partner with NAMI  and other community organizations, and prides herself in providing honest communication and evidence-based interventions for families and patients.
